Terra Mitica in Benidorm is a big park, with five themed areas inspired by Egypt, Greece, Rome, the Greek Islands and Iberia. Trying to see it all in one hot day, with a long drive at each end, can be tiring, especially with children. That is why more families now turn their visit into a short stay-and-play break.
The park has its own accommodation right next door: the Four Points by Sheraton Costa Blanca hotel and the Four Points by Sheraton Costa Blanca Villas. In this guide we compare the two, explain how to get there and suggest a simple two-day plan. Note that the 2026 park season ends on 1 November, so a break this year needs to be booked fast.

Why stay next to the park?

Staying on site means no early start and no traffic. You can walk to the park, go back for a swim or a nap in the afternoon, and return in the evening when the queues are shorter. It also makes the park’s special evening openings, like the Halloween night on 31 October, much easier to enjoy, because bed is only a short walk away.
Four Points by Sheraton Costa Blanca: the hotel

The hotel has 300 rooms, a reception with views of the Benidorm skyline and direct access to Terra Mitica. Facilities include two outdoor pools with a pool bar, Balinese beds, a wellness and spa centre, a sports area, kids’ activities, 24-hour reception and room service, and free Wi-Fi. Entertainment for children and adults runs in July and August.
Standard double rooms start at about 30 m2 with a double bed, a sofa bed, air conditioning, a minibar and a terrace, and sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. There are 80 sea-view doubles, 45 Premium rooms with garden and skyline views and a hydromassage bath, and Superior rooms of around 50 m2 with balconies looking straight over the park.

Four Points by Sheraton Costa Blanca Villas

The Villas are the more original option. There are 102 themed villas in landscaped gardens with five shared pools, and 51 of them have their own private pool. On site you will find a buffet and an a la carte restaurant, a cafe bar, a pool bar, a gym, minigolf, play areas and 24-hour reception. Every villa has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge and espresso machine, which makes self-catering easy and saves money on a longer stay.
There are four types of villa:
| Villa type | Number | Size | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Twin Villa | 22 | 36 m2, up to 4 people | Small families on a budget |
| Premium Villa | 29 | 36 m2 + 21 m2 terrace | Families who love outdoor space |
| Pool Villa Duplex | 18 | 64 m2, sleeps 5 | Families who want a private pool |
