Most Italian households pay three separate bills every month: one for electricity, one for gas and one for the mobile phone. Enel Energia is trying to change that with Enel Luce, Gas e Giga, a package that combines home electricity and gas supply with a personal Enel Mobile SIM. Instead of paying extra for the SIM, the mobile plan is included as long as you keep both energy contracts with Enel.
We have already covered how to switch to Enel online and the web-only offers in an earlier guide. This article looks only at the newer bundle: what you get, what it costs, the current welcome voucher and the small print worth reading before you sign. All figures come from the Enel Energia website at the time of writing.

What Is Enel Luce, Gas e Giga?
The package is made of two energy offers, Enel Luce e Giga for electricity and Enel Gas e Giga for gas, plus the Enel Mobile SIM. Enel says the bundle is for people coming from another supplier, and the mobile plan is reserved for customers who have both an electricity and a gas contract active with Enel, at least one of them on a Giga offer.
The idea is simple. Your energy prices are fixed for two years, you get a discount for paying by direct debit, and the SIM comes with a large monthly data allowance at no extra monthly cost.
Electricity and Gas Prices at a Glance
These are the prices Enel lists for the bundle. They exclude VAT and taxes, the electricity price includes network losses as defined by ARERA, the Italian energy regulator, and both prices are fixed for the first 24 months. Enel states that these conditions are valid until 22 October 2026, unless the offer ends earlier, so check the current figures on the offer page before signing.
| Item | With direct debit or card | Without direct debit | List price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Electricity (per kWh) | 0.179 euros (15% off) | 0.189 euros | 0.211 euros |
| Gas (per standard cubic metre) | 0.690 euros (20% off) | 0.733 euros | 0.863 euros |
| Fixed charge | 13 euros per month per supply | 13 euros per month per supply | 156 euros per year per supply |
| Enel Mobile SIM | Included | Included | 10 euros SIM activation |
The discount only holds while both supplies stay active with Enel and you keep paying by direct debit or credit card. Enel also notes that if you leave one of the supplies during the first 24 months, the list price of 0.211 euros per kWh for electricity and 0.863 euros per Smc for gas applies for the remaining months. Check today’s prices on the Enel website.
What the Enel Mobile SIM Includes

The included mobile plan gives you 150 GB of data in 5G, unlimited minutes and 200 SMS every month. It runs on the Fastweb network, and 5G works in covered areas with a compatible phone, at speeds of up to 2 Gbps according to Enel. The only upfront cost is the 10 euro SIM activation fee.
There are a few rules to know. The plan renews every month. If you go over the allowance, SMS cost 29 cents each and extra data is charged at 0.90 euros per 100 MB. If you close one of your two energy contracts, the SIM is not cut off, but it moves to a monthly fee of 11 euros with the same allowance. That 11 euro figure also gives a good idea of what the SIM is worth: around 132 euros a year that you would otherwise spend on a separate mobile plan.

The Current Welcome Voucher

Enel is also running a prize promotion for new sign-ups to Enel Luce e Giga and Gas e Giga between 16 October and 4 November 2026. If you switch both electricity and gas, you can choose either an electric car charging voucher worth 57 kWh, which Enel says is equivalent to 40 euros and is used through the Enel On Your Way app, or a 40 euro digital fuel voucher for Q8 and Q8easy stations. Full terms are in the promotion rules on the Enel website.

A Simple Cost Example
To see how the numbers work, take a household that uses 2,700 kWh of electricity a year, a common reference figure in Italy. At 0.179 euros per kWh, the energy part comes to about 483 euros, plus 156 euros in fixed charges. Without direct debit, the same energy would cost about 510 euros. That is a difference of around 27 euros a year on electricity alone, before VAT and the other bill items such as network and system charges, which are listed in the Condizioni Tecnico Economiche.
The gas saving is larger in percentage terms, because the direct debit price of 0.690 euros per Smc is 20 percent below the 0.863 euro list price. For a household that heats with gas through the winter, that gap adds up quickly. Add the value of a mobile plan you no longer pay for, and the bundle can make sense for many families.
Who Is This Bundle For?

- Households that want electricity and gas from one supplier, with prices fixed for two years.
- People happy to pay by direct debit or card, since that is where the main discount comes from.
- Anyone paying for a separate mobile plan who would use 150 GB of data a month.
- Drivers who can use the 40 euro fuel or electric charging voucher while the promotion runs.
It is less suitable if you only want electricity, if you plan to move house soon, or if you prefer to pay by bank transfer or at the post office, because you would lose the discounted prices.
Before You Sign: Quick Checklist
- Have a recent electricity and gas bill and your codice fiscale ready.
- Read the Scheda Sintetica and Condizioni Tecnico Economiche for both offers, linked on the Enel page.
- Read the Enel Mobile sintesi contrattuale to check coverage and roaming rules.
- Note the date the prices are valid until, since Enel updates its offers regularly.
Conclusion
Enel Luce, Gas e Giga is one of the more interesting energy offers in Italy right now, because it adds real extra value instead of just a small discount. Fixed prices for 24 months, up to 20 percent off with direct debit and a 150 GB 5G SIM make it worth a look for any household paying for energy and mobile separately. See if Enel Luce, Gas e Giga suits your home.
