How it All Begin?
Two years after the company’s founding, Yvonne Schubkegel created waves when she presented her white ceramic designs to the local factories. A company Mogendorf/Westerwald teamed up with her, and the journey began.
Schubkegel got successful by investing in simple yet stunning designs and products. She started with a small warehouse, and eventually, larger ones followed closely behind. The small brand gained fame after its first public presentation at the International Frankfurt Spring Fair. The innovative designs left the audience astounded.
Over time, ASA Selection grew. A sales and representative team was formed. The product range flourished and grew, including bowls, cachepots, vases, and tableware series. Orders continued to come in, and the company proceeded to create them faster. The company has a clear design strategy: Simplistic designs and clear color schemes.

The Global Success of ASA Selection Catalogues
The initial black and white self-written and hand-illustrated catalogs have come a long way to be the renowned ASA design books. These catalogs have played a significant role in taking the brand in front of potential customers. The amount of effort it takes to create these design books is impressive, with elaborate photography depicting ASA Selection designs and products.
The catalogs found a high point in 2003 via the Home by ASA collection that breathed new life into the company and gave birth to the idea of Home by ASA shops. What began as a company creating living accessories grew to an acclaimed laid table specialist.
